A “picture-perfect wedding” refers to floral décor for a wedding celebration that is visually stunning and impeccably executed, creating a scene so beautiful that it could be captured in photographs like a work of art. For a quarter century, florists have eagerly submitted photos of their floral creations for our annual “Picture Perfect Weddings Contest,” and again this year, the submissions flooded in, showcasing stunning and inspiring wedding flowers—bouquets, wearable flowers, arches, flower installations and more—that adorned wedding ceremonies and receptions throughout 2023. This year’s entries—nearly 140—exhibited diverse interpretations of our design categories, providing a sneak peek into the evolving trends and creativity within the enchanting realm of wedding flowers. We anticipate that the extraordinary weddings featured in this collection will ignite your imagination for the approaching wedding season.

Florists contributed photos of their finest wedding floral creations from 2023 across various categories, including:

• Bouquets

• Ceremony Décor

• Reception Décor

• Flower Installation

• Wearable Flowers (including corsages, boutonnières, hairpieces/headpieces, flower jewelry and more)

Our panel of judges meticulously selected their favorite designs in each category. The winning designs are showcased within these pages and on our website, FloristsReview.com. We extend our gratitude to all the talented designers who participated and offer hearty congratulations to all the deserving winners!

The winner of the “Best Overall Wedding” category will receive 250 stems of exquisite garden roses from Alexandra Farms and a feature in an upcoming issue of Florists’ Review. The “Best Bouquets” winner will receive a one-year membership to True Client Pro software, an all-in-one event management CRM software for florists, wedding planners and venues. The first-, second- and third-place winners of the “Wearable Flowers” category will receive a collection of products from Fitz Design, as will the winners of the “Best Corsages,” “Best Boutonnières” and “Best Pocket Boutonnières” categories.
