IFE — the largest floral B2B trade show in North America — returns to the Miami Beach Convention Center June 9-11.
The International Floriculture Expo (IFE) will return to the newly renovated Miami Beach Convention Center from June 9-11, 2020. This year’s show follows a highly successful 2019 event which saw a sold-out show floor and record attendance. The International Floriculture Expo is the largest floral event in North America and offers an entire day devoted to floral education and two days of over 60,000 square feet of floral exhibits.
“We redesigned IFE in 2019 to be strictly focused on florals with zero distractions and the response from exhibitors and attendees alike has been phenomenal” said Event Manager Harrison Hines. “And being able to do all of this in the heart of the U.S. floral community, here in Florida, just really feels special.” “Whether you’re a florist or a floral buyer with 1,000 locations, this show has something for you. We truly encompass the entire floral industry.”
Every year IFE brings together a targeted group of the industry’s highest-volume floral buyers who are the critical forces behind purchasing for the country’s largest floral departments. Hundreds of companies like Amazon, Safeway/Albertson’s, Associated Wholesale Grocers, The Home Depot, Publix, Wegmans, Whole Foods Market and Target attend the event to see the latest product innovations, network with existing vendors, meet new suppliers, and to participate in the education program.
Additionally, retail florists will find inspiration and networking opportunities throughout the show floor and IFE Education Day. Education Day will begin at 8 a. m. on Tuesday, June 9, and will deliver a meaningful conference program with top industry presenters from around the country and the world, allowing attendees to maximize their time away from the office. Education Day is dedicated to a robust education program, developed to give floral professionals ideas, tips, and industry insights to take back to their business.
Additional networking events and design demonstrations such as the annual Iron Designer Competition and the prestigious Flower Naming Ceremony are held throughout the two show days.
