Despite the high hopes we had for the situation to improve, we have to face the fact that SARSCoV-2 coronavirus is spreading,
threatening more and more people around the world.

Common safety, responsibility and health are now our priorities.

The Direction Committee of Florint, the International Florist Organisation, had a crisis meeting on
the 13th of March. And in agreement with the Europa Cup’s organising committee of Polish Florist
Association SFP, it has been decided to change the date of the Europa Cup planned for June 5-7,
2020.

This decision goes along with the recommendations of the national crisis management committee
of the Republic of Poland concerning the prevention of SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus.
Hoping for your understanding, we would like to announce a new date for the Europa Cup in
Katowice, Poland, which is: April 16-18, 2021.

The situation is challenging for everyone. But we believe that postponing the Championship will
allow us to carry out the event in the atmosphere it deserves: one of peace and joy, with the
greatest number of flower enthusiasts able to enjoy this floristic feast.

We feel confident that, by April next year, our lives will have returned to normal and we will be
able to experience the Europa Cup in the way we all wish for. In particular, we also want the
competitors to be able to comfortably and adequately prepare for the tasks ahead.

giving the Europa Cup Championship an even greater momentum.

of today – is fully prepared for follow-up action and will make every effort to ensure that this event
is organised perfectly.
