The luxurious Taj 51 Buckingham Gate Suites and Residences and St James Court, a Taj Hotel , has today announced its Summer Sessions, a series of classes and workshops that will be taking place in St James’ Courtyard this September. Available to guests and visitors to the hotel will be a hand-tied seasonal floral workshop with Master Florist Jens Jakobsen , and a chance to relax and unwind with Yoga Classes from yoga teacher to the stars Claire Missingham .
Hand-tied Seasonal Bouquets with Jens Jakobsen
From bloomy beginners to green fingered fans, the hand-tied seasonal bouquet workshop is the ideal way to escape the hustle and bustle of London and learn from Master Florist Jakobsen how to effortlessly pin together the perfect bouquet. The exclusive one-off workshop will deliver an introduction into the craft of floristry; covering the entire process of making a bouquet that you can wrap, package and take home on the day.From shapes, textures and colour palettes, to conditioning, prep and learning the technique for a lovely spiraled hand tied bunch, the workshop will add a burst of floral fun to your Summer. The bubbles will be popped, and nibbles provided to enjoy in the stunning St James’ Courtyard where the exclusive session will take place nestled within the grand hotel buildings.
With over 20 years’ experience, Jens Jakobsen is an outstanding professional florist that delivers work that combines happiness, sophistication, personalisation and chic design. Reconnection Sessions with Claire Missingham
Described as London’s ‘inner sanctum’, St James’ Courtyard is a private space ideal for a series of 90-minute devotional yoga classes, allowing yogis to reconnect and realign in a large open space. Guests and visitors are welcomed to come out of hibernation and experience the practices that reconnect you with your inner light and also with each other. Even without being physically close, the Vinyasa-Flow class (suitable for all levels) will connect participants through breath and united intention, allowing you to get yourself strong so you can serve with power. Social distancing will be adhered to and for hygiene reasons, yogis are asked to bring their own mat to ensure a safe and serene experience.For 21 years, Claire Missingham has been a leading yoga teacher across the globe: from the USA to UK, to India.
