How to create a sculptural flower design using packaging and anthuriums.

Ingredients – green anthurium x 2, canna lily flowers, aspidistra, sedum, papyrus stems and heads.

The polystyrene packaging looks sculptural – and painting it black further changed it. Add onto a spike base and put at the angle further adds to the sculptural feel – so the additions. straight lines and bold foliage and flowers were the perfect compliment for this design. Even the waxy, plasticky look of the anthuriums add to the ‘feel’.
I hate throwing stuff away – and it’s amazing how you can reuse and restyle any material.
