On November 12-13, 2019, Selecta one held informative events for Poinsettia growers and interested parties informative: the well-attended Magic Stars events at Emsflower in Emsbüren, Germany (see image above) and Floripartner in Denmark. Participants received insight into the companies and an exclusive presentation of the current Poinsettia assortment and exciting novelties from Selecta one.

Selecta one presented the advantages and characteristics of each of the new varieties. The slightly different Poinsettia Christmas Mouse features round, rather than pointed leaves, while SkyStar with its white dots on red bacts were highlighted by Selecta one.

Selecta one poinsettia varieties: Christmas Break (left) and SkyStar.

Other varieties, include: Christmas Break with homogeneous growth; the versatile Christmas Universe and Holy Day with excellent rooting system, were all recommended as very strong red varieties. The red Christmas Eve variety is ideal for sales in November, according to Selecta one. Christmas Candle and Happy Mood are both red new varieties with very thick and strong stems.

The breeding company has also stunning white varieties to offer, such as the new variety Christmas Frosting with especially large bracts.

Still successful and popular are the series Christmas Feelings and Christmas Beauty with many different colors. Christmas Feelings varieties such as Christmas Feelings Merlot in dark red and Christmas Feelings Pearl in bright pinkish-white promise a strong rooting system and a long shelf-life. Christmas Beauty varieties offer the growers easy-to-control and excellent branching plants and modern colors, with fantastic effects for the customers, with the Christmas Beauty Queen and Christmas Beauty Princess, for example, being true eye-catchers.

Also, the nice and colorful Princettia varieties also dazzled visitors, from the classic pink, to special neon and shining pink, as well as the pure icy white.
