What was your inspiration behind this book, and why did you create it?
My inspiration always comes from my love for nature and my desire to showcase the beauty and uniqueness of every single flower to as many people as possible. I created this book after receiving numerous requests from the students of my floral design school [Daisy Flowers School in Rome]. I thought of it as an inspirational guide for practicing flower arrangements and becoming acquainted with the most available botanical materials. I selected 29 flowers; I summarized their main characteristics; and, for each one, I created a floral composition and showed the main steps in constructing it. In each arrangement, I showcased a specific flower.

How would you define/categorize this book?
Italian Floral Artistry is a hybrid: a beautiful flower arrangement photo book to inspire its readers and a technical manual to educate its readers. With this book, readers will find the pleasure of knowing flowers along with simple compositional steps so that everyone can re-create the design ideas and add their own touches and signature styles.

For what audience(s) did you create this book?

This book is dedicated to all flower lovers, from beginning flower arrangers to experienced floral designers—anyone and everyone who wants to be creatively inspired.
