The 30th annual Gateway to the Americas Cup is now underway in Orlando, Fla., bringing industry professionals from across the globe to compete in the coveted design competition.
From June 3 to 7 designers will be given five timed tasks of varying guidelines to complete over the course of the weekend. The competition awards winners more than $10,000 in scholarships and prize money.

TASK 2 : Bridal Wreath Bouquet
- TIME: 2 hours
- MATERIALS: All hard goods must be provided by the competitors themselves, but not fresh flowers
- All fresh flowers are provided in colors of peach, coral, lavender, purple and green
- DESIGN: Construct an armature or structure on site and create an open wreath shaped bouquet
- The construction must be assembled during prep time
- The frame must be a “bare” circular shape as a base for the decorative materials to be added during prep time
